   Although this story is a hit with readers, the original edition has not attracted enough readers over the years. I attribute this to the original cover and title, which I believe was scaring away those who love a great mystery that contains no gory elements. The cover may have given potential readers the idea the book was gory and contained a somewhat demonic story line. It was time for me to set the record straight with this new title and cover.

   Between the front and back cover you will find a compelling, gentle and humorous contemporary character-driven mystery. You will fall in love with the characters and root for them as every stone they overturn leads to additional clues to a century-old tragedy.

   As in real life, things are not always what they seem, and people's actions are often the result of their inner and outer turmoil.

   Read it for yourself and see why Hell is in Me (now titled "Beneath This Hallowed Ground") made such a profound impression on readers. This is no cookie-cutter, same old-same old tale. BENEATH THIS HALLOWED GROUND is truly a unique story in the Supernatural Suspense genre.
